Englezii au gasit cauza prestatiei lor dezamagitoare:

"The 14th FIPSed World Carp Angling Championships were held at Lac Corbu in Romania between the 27th and 30th September 2012, but were marred by the use of a venue where the fish had been fed on a single soluble bait for 5 months. Because this information was only available to a few countries, those teams had a very significant advantage. Despite the Korda England Carp team working together really well for months before the event, with the fantastic support of their new sponsor Korda, there was no way they could win using a different bait."

Ian Huntingdon continued, “Hard lessons have been learnt and it has been a very difficult experience to pick the team and ourselves up after this event. We are extremely disappointed that the water was fed with a single bait. While this is not strictly against the rules, and the Romanians freely admitted to doing it we feel that there is a morale issue here, and question whether this practice is in the spirit of fair play. I have already spoken to Dick Clegg about this and he is going to take the matter up with FIPSed at this year’s November meeting in Italy.

Unii stiu sa piarda, iar altii cauta motive in fata sponsorilor.
Cert este un lucru: o buna parte din loturile de la CM ar fi terminat in coada clasamentului de la CN.
Si spun asta din postura de arbitru atat la CN cat si la CM si nu numai ...
Informatii au fost destule daca ar fi vrut sa citeasca. Numai ca trebuiau traduse din romana si interpretate. Au fost doua cupe Rig si trei etape de CN.

... si la CM o gramada de echipe care au aruncat in apa toate felurile de porub dulce care exista in Europa asta ...
... si pe urma ne intrebau daca tot pestele din balta este "asa de mic"

In principiu, in afara de bulgari, care ne considera campioni pe drept cuvant, restul care au iesit ciuca batailor, cred ca am castigat manarind balta sau cantarele arbitrilor. Nu mai spun ca sunt suporteri rusi care nu ne scot din tigani si hoti !
Pana una alta, cititi mai jos un extras dintr-un raport al englezilor :

Extract and pictures above from my notes from our visit three weeks before the event. As you can see we noticed the soluball approach. We even discussed this with some of the finest bait brains in the country upon our return. Unfortunately the key to the match and what we did not know was the lake had been corrupted onto one single type of bait. Since the fish were stocked in May 2012 and while at the fish farm prior to this they had been fed solely on this bait. Consequently countries that had been and practiced were aware of this and managed to get some local bait to enable them at least to take part in the event. The Bulgarians who are next door to Romania commissioned their own bait based on what had been fed to the fish. Portugal and Serbians had contacts in Romania who provided local bait. The fish were fed daily throughout the summer by boat on the Romanian bait on fixed lines parallel with the bank so the host countries were not taking any chances. Imagine feeding a lake in this country with only one bait for a year and then holding a match on it, the outcome would be just the same as Romania. Those with the introduced bait would do well and the rest would really struggle to get a bite.
