As it stands, England have landed around 100 carp, which is probably more anyone else in the competition. Unfortunately, only seven of those have qualified as weighable carp. That's 7%, which is ridiculous, highlighting again how unsuitable this venue is for an event of this stature. There are other nations also suffering with this problem of course and it's not fair on the guys taking part, people have travelled from all over the world to come here. The rules state that average fish must be at least 2kg to host the event, yet over 90% of the fish caught haven't even reached the 1.5kg mark. The competition is still tight and the boys will soldier on, right up to the whistle.

Un lac cu cat are o populatie piscicola mai redusa cu atat este mai dezechilibrat d.p.d.v al standurilor...este penibila decizia portughezilor de a desfasura CM-ul pe "balastiera" asta atat de obosita mai ales ca a existat un precedent...probabil ca si "AGVPS-ul" lor, ca sa-i ramana mai mult "cascaval",a bagat la inaintare "ligheanul" asta depopulat.
Pe orice loc vor termina, baietii nostri,vin acasa triumfatori.

La ora 8 Romania era pe locul 2 cu cate un peste pe fiecare sector, zice dl. Vesa, insa din clasament reiese ca totusi nu s-a punctat pe C... asteptam mai multe detalii.
