The new Quick® SLR 470 FS is the technically and optically usefully overworked version of our SLR Free Spool series. It is well equipped for the daily use and offers an amazing value for money ratio. It superbly combines long-cast Big-Pit characteristics with the subtle features of a standard free spool reel. The high spool capacity and the worm-shaft system make the Quick® SLR FS a perfect reel for long distance fishing with braided mainline. Latest techniques enabled us to reduce the body size significantly as well as optimizing the weight, so that it is perfectly balanced on the rod. The micro-adjustable free spool system,as well as the fight drag system offer you 100 % reliability at any time. Notice a new feature called the “Long Distance Control” line clip; this rounded aluminium clip that is attached to the spool with a spring will have much lower resistance than conventional line clips. Using this enables you to cast exactly back on your hot spot over and over again without damaging the line or breaking off the clip.
