8. The decision of the draw master is final. There can be no re-draws or amendments.
9. Each competitor must set up his rods and accommodation within the designated swim unless otherwise authorized by the officials. Competitors must not place their baits outside the limits of their swim, such limit to be marked by a buoy or an imaginary line marking the middle distance between his and his neighbors peg marker. Any disputes as to the competitors casting outside the area must be reported immediately to the marshals. Marshals have the discretion to request that competitors re-place their rods as and when directed and such request must be complied with.
10. The start of the competition will be signaled by a horn. When this horn is sounded anglers may cast their baited hooks into the water. Feature finding will not be allowed prior to this horn sounding
11. Baiting up and the placing of baits and markers is allowed by boat. Fish may be played and landed from the boat on the large lake.
12. The maximum distance any boat may travel from it’s peg number marker is to the half way point between its neighbors swims or a maximum of 200 meters whichever is farthest.

15. Each team will be permitted to use a maximum of six rods and must place cast and bait their own rods, and play, land and unhook their own fish. No assistance is allowed from any person other than a member of that competitors team. A further 4 rods are permitted to be set up and ready to use but must not have baits on the hooks.

20. In the unlikely event of a Marshall being unable to immediately weigh and witness a captured fish it MUST be placed in a carp sack for holding until such a time as a marshal is available. The official weight will be that which is recorded by the marshal following weighing procedure by the officials using the official equipment.
21. Competitors are required to possess their own carp sacks as in the event of a multiple capture; sacks will be required to hold fish until weighing. They will not be provided by the organisers. They must also possess TWO large unhooking mats, one for the boat and one for the bank.
22. Please try to make sure that hooked fish do not interfere with other anglers lines. If a fish does interfere with another teams lines the other team should not interfere with the capture. Sportsmanship and fair play ethics apply.
23. Only officials, press, competitors and marshals are permitted to bivvy up on the banks or stay in the competition area after the hours of darkness unless authorized by the organizers.
24. The organizers retain the right to search all competitors tackle or vehicles to combat any form of cheating or rule breaking. Anglers found cheating will banned for life by the organizers.
25. The competition shall be decided on total weight with the pair in each section having the greatest weight being declared the section winners. In the event of a tie the pair with the most fish will be declared the winners. If the result is still tied the pair catching the biggest fish will be declared the winner. If there is still a tied position then the “fastest fish” rule applies and the angler that landed the fish first will be declared the winner.
26. In the unlikely event of no fish being caught, or insufficient fish being caught for the prizes available, the competition will be decided by a contest of accurate casting. The rules of this competition shall be available for inspection at the event headquarters.
27. Only Leather, Common, Mirror Carp (cyprinus crapmania.ro) and grass carp (amour) will count in the competition.
28. Should any competitor wish to leave their swim for any reason whatsoever his team mates will be permitted to still use six rods. If all team members leave the swim all rods and their baited hooks must be removed from the water.

30. Boats and remote control bait, echo sounders and GPS systems are permitted
31. Each line may only have one hook attached. For conservation purposes the organisers request that barbless or micro-barb hooks are used.
32. Main lines must be monofilament. Braid or nylon shock leaders are allowed up to a maximum of 10 meters.

37. Competitors must comply with requests from authorized media members at all times regarding media coverage.
38. The sounding of a horn will signify the end of each competition whereupon competitors must immediately withdraw their lines from the water.
39. Any fish hooked before the final horn sounds must be landed within 20 minutes of the end of the competition or it will be excluded from the final results.
40. The prize giving will take place at the event HQ when all of the winners have arrived.
41. These rules have been approved by the adjudicating committee who reserve the right to amend or change the rules at any stage should circumstance dictates.
